My child’s big dream is not represented by the stickers available, what can I do?

We know that children have very big dreams and it’s not possible to capture every single one in a sticker. Therefore, we have also created a ‘I have a big dream’ sticker which you can include on your photograph. Remember, your child is judged on their dream and not on the image or stickers.

What changes can be made to my child’s photo?

You must not Photoshop or ‘edit’ your child’s picture prior to uploading it. Once your child’s picture has been uploaded, however, you have the option to choose from stickers that best represent your child’s dream. These can be overlaid on your photo to customise the image further. Don’t like the stickers? No problem, you do not have to use them. Rest assured, they don’t affect the judging process.

I have already registered my child. How do I now vote for him/her?

  1. Find the entry of your child in the ‘Gallery’. You can do this either by clicking the link in your entry confirmation email, or by clicking 'search for your child' in the Gallery photos to find your child by their given name.
  2. There is a 'vote' button on each child's profile page. When clicked, this button will ask you to log in with your registered email address and password to place your vote.
  3. Once you have voted, you will receive a confirmation email to confirm your vote has been successful.

How often can I enter my child for the promotion?

Please also note that you can only vote once a day per child.

I haven't registered a child myself, but I want to vote for someone else's child. How do I do this?

What prizes can my child win?

This year, the prize is for six children (four Australian, two New Zealand) to be named the Face of Kinder 2018. The winning children will attend a photo-shoot and their faces will appear on Kinder Chocolate packs together with their big dream from July 2019. If you successfully win, in order to take up the prize, you and your child must attend a photo-shoot in Sydney Australia this August. Kinder will arrange and pay for travel from the winners nearest capital city so the parent and child can attend the studio. Provision of accommodation will be at Kinder’s discretion once the winners’ itinerary and travel details have been confirmed.

How will you choose the winners?

After the online voting, the judging will involve a two-step process. There will be 30 boys and 30 girls selected from Australian residents based on the number of votes received. There will be 20 boys and 20 girls selected from New Zealand residents based on the number of votes received (“the Top 100”). A panel of judges selected by Kinder will then judge the Top 100 entries. Each of the Top 100 entries will be judged based on the creativity and uniqueness of the child’s big dream story. There will be two boys and two girls selected from Australia to receive the prize and one boy and one girl selected from New Zealand to receive the prize.
